
2024 CCC SEPTEMBER FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE IN
Wind and more wind challenged those working the Classy Chassy Cruisers last Friday Night Cruise In at the Coral Ridge Mall, Coralville on September 27th. It otherwise was a beautiful evening with the sun shining. We had 105 registered for door prizes. There were many more in the parking area that didn’t register. $266.00 was donated to Hospice at Registration. Participants came from Iowa City, Coralville, Cedar Rapids, Solon, Oxford, Williamsburg, Wellman, Holbrook, Washington, Rock Island IL, Ely, Walford, North Liberty, West Liberty, Cedar Falls, Hills, Durant, Hiawatha, Kalona, Swisher, Riverside, Tipton, West Branch, Elberon, Muscatine, Robins, North English, Tiffin, Springdale, Amana, Fairfax, Ladora, Morse, and Victor.
Mike Fielder, Rock Island, IL won the Long-Distance Trophy. The Spectators Choice Trophy went to Tara Rew, Cedar Falls, Iowa with a 51’ Willys Overland.
50/50 tickets brought in $224.00. Sara Brown, Iowa City held the lucky ticket and took home $112.00. Hospice will get the other half of the 50/50, $112.00. Three more tickets were drawn from the 50/50 for Grand Prizes – a $50 Visa Card from Sperry Engines, Cedar Rapids went to Terri Rocca, Iowa City; Riverside Casino one night stay and two buffets went to Carol Carlson, Cedar Rapids and Terry Protextor, Iowa City.
We want to thank those CCC members who helped to set up, work the tables, driving the golf cart, taking pictures, announcing, and tearing down. Thank you to Mel Cannon, who drove the truck with the trailer to and from the event (Mark Heacock is still in recovery mode from total knee replacement.)
We also want to thank our major sponsors ($250 or more on the back of the cruise wear) and sponsors who donated up to $200 for their continued support for our events.
Iowa City Hospice representative, Sue McConnell, was there providing information about Iowa City Hospice and she even jumped in helping sell cruise wear. She is such a joy to work with.

2024- GREAT FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE IN
Classy Chassy Cruisers Friday Night Cruise In August 30th at the Coral Ridge Mall, Coralville, Iowa was tremendous. The weather was great, and the classics/cruisers and motorcycles came. We had 103 register and were eligible for door prizes. Registration collected $365.00 for Iowa City Hospice.
A Long-Distance Trophy was given to Jason Jacobs, Lincoln, Nebraska who drove 291 miles with his 84' Fiero. 50/50 total $55.00 and Marsha Jacobs, West Liberty had the lucky ticket which she donated back to Iowa City Hospice.
Another 50/50 ticket was drawn for a Grand Door prize. which was a $50 VISA card from Sperry Engines, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Nick Chelf, Iowa City held the lucky ticket. Spectators could vote for their favorite classic/cruiser and Dene'Rath, Sharon Center, Iowa won with his 64' Plymouth.
One of our long-time members turned 80 years old this month and the family surprised him with a little celebration with cake for everyone at the cruise in

2024 GREAT CLASSY CHASSY CRUISERS FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE IN
July 26th, Classy Chassy Cruisers Friday Night Cruise In was a little breezy and the temperature was in the high 80’s and sunny. Thanks to all the members for helping set up and work the various jobs. We had 108 register for door prizes, but there were about 140 on the parking area. Registration collected $345 for Hospice. We had participants from Iowa City, Coralville, Holbrook, Solon, Oxford, Kalona, Muscatine, Kalona, West Liberty, Robins, Walford, Williamsburg, Hiawatha, Cedar Rapids, Washington, Swisher, Marion, Wellman, Hills, Riverside, Sharon Center, North Liberty, Durant, Lisbon, Mechanicsville, Ft. Madison, Rock Island IL., Ely, West Branch, Victor, Mt. Vernon, Tiffin, and Morse.
50/50 collected $164 and the lucky ticket holder was George Letson, Cedar Rapids taking home $87. Hospice will get $87. Four more tickets were drawn for the Grand Door Prizes: A $50 VISA card from Sperry Engines, Cedar Rapids – winner Mary McCarthy, Coralville; a $50 VISA card from Classy Chassy Cruisers - winer Sherry Wilcox, Cedar Rapids; and the Riverside Casino one Night Stay and two Buffets – winner Donna Heacock, Iowa City. The Long Distance Trophy went to Keith Krogmeier, Ft. Madison, Iowa with his 37’ Plymouth.
There were many spectators viewing the classics and cruisers. One of our sponsors, Discount Tire, Coralville had a tent with displays and give aways.
We are looking forward to another great August CCC Friday Night Cruise In on August 30th.

























2024 -JUNE FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE IN
The June 28th Classy Chassy Cruisers Friday Night Cruise In was put on despite Mother Nature's threat of rain showers - we began setting up at 3p with no rain and not many hands to help.
We had 19participants register, from Iowa City, Coralville, Oxford, Morse, Marion, Walford, Tipton, Williamsburg, ad Ladora with their classics and cruisers. Mary McCarty was there to represent Hospice.
It never rained and the sun even came out. The registration brought ion $20 and 50/50 brought $14. 50/50 was drawn and Hospice had the lucky ticket. The Grand Prize of Riverside Casino and Golf certificates for one night stay and two buffets went to Mary McCarty, who had her ticket drawn.
There several in the parking area including motorcycles that did not register. Due to the lack of lack of participation we decided to close down after 7:30p.
We want to that Mitchel Shingledecker, his friend Alex, Heacock's, Mike Drapac, Mel Cannon, and Mary McCarty for helping tear down. We hope Mother Nature will be kind to us for the rest of the season, We hope to get more members to hlep set up, work tables, 50/50, and tear down.
* Remember, Wednesday, July 3rd, Classy Chassy Cruisers will be doing a car show and shine at the North parking lot, Penn Street (near the Ball Diamonds), North Liberty.

FRIDAY, MAY 31ST, CLASSY CHASSY CRUISERS FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE IN AT THE CORAL RIDGE MALL, CORALVILLE WAS AWESOME!
The weather was a little windy but nice for a show of Classics and
cruisers.....
They came from Iowa City, Coralville, Tipton, Robins Hills, West Liberty, Solon, Coal Valley, Mechanicsville, Cedar Rapids, North Liberty, Williamsburg, Oxford, Amana, Muscatine, Walford, Ely, Marion, Hiawatha, Rock Island, IL, Toddville, Elberon, Marengo, Riverside, Sharon Center, Bennett. North English, Conroy, West Branch, Kalona, Homestead, Tiffin, Durant, Blue Grass, Swisher, Holbrook, Ladora, Victor, and Morse.
We had 135 register, and they were eligible for door prizes. There were many more that did not register. Registration was $1 or a Free Will donation for Iowa City Hospice which totaled $402.25.
There were a lot of spectators viewing and talking to the owners of their Classics/Cruisers. 50/50 brought in $165. Doug Wolrab, Cedar Rapids had the lucky winning ticket and took home $82. Iowa City Hospice will get the other half - $85. Two more tickets were drawn for the Grand Prizes - Sperry Engines, Cedar Rapids one of our Major Sponsors donated a $70 gift card from Applebee’s and Ed Logan, Coralville held the lucky ticket drawn. Another Grand Prize from another Major Sponsor, Riverside Casino and Golf Resort donated a one-night Stay, and two Buffet dinners was donated to Iowa City Hospice (a participant had to leave early and said if his ticket was drawn to give it to Iowa City Hospice.)
