2ND FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE IN

                        The May 26, 2023, Classy Chassy  Cruisers Friday Night Cruise In was great and the weather was in the 80’s. 137 cruisers registered and there were over 150 on the lot. Rudy Blue’s BBQ food truck from Cedar Rapids was there providing tasty food. 50/50 brought in $160 and Ed Logan, Coralville was the lucky ticket holder. He donated his winnings back to Hospice. Sue represented Hospice, providing information regarding Hospice. Grand Prizes were drawn from the 50/50 tickets - $50 Mellow Mushroom gift card went to Leanne Mallory, Palm Harbor, Florida; $50 off service to Sperry Engines went to Nick Chelf, Iowa City; $50 Visa Card from Sperry Engines went to Tung Weng, North Liberty; and the Riverside Casino one night stay/two buffets went to Terri Rocca, Iowa City.

1st Friday Night Cruise In

            The 1st Friday Night Cruise In at the Coral Ridge Mall, Coralville was a big hit! The weather started out sunny and in the 70’s. We had several motorcycles and Trike motorcycles. The Rudy Blues BBQ Food Truck was on site and participants, spectators, and volunteers enjoyed his food variety and commented this is great!

There were 94 registered and more than 135 on the lot. Registration was a $1 or free will donation for Hospice and collected $288.00 which will go to Hospice. Participants that registered came from Iowa City, Coralville, West Liberty, Robins, Lone Tree, Tipton, Cedar rapids, Elberon, Washington, Mt Pleasant, Walford, Monticello, North Liberty, Williamsburg, Burlington, Mechanicsville, North English, Rock Island, IL, West Branch, Coal Valley, IL, Hiawatha, Solon, Ely, Lisbon, Oxford, Amana, Marion, Bennett, Tiffin, Morse, Ladora, Wellman, Homestead, Marion, and Hills.

The 50/50 brought in $152 and the lucky ticket holder was Ron Jacobs, West Liberty. He donated his winnings back to Hospice.

            The Awards were quickly drawn at 7:30p as the sky quickly darkened and the chilly wind came up strong. Mary Reese held the ticket drawn for the Sperry Engines, Cedar Rapids for  a  $50 Off Service voucher. Another ticket was drawn for the $50 Visa Card from Sperry Engines, Cedar Rapids and Donna Heacock held the ticket. The evening concluded with a ticket drawn for the one-night Stay and 2 buffets at the Riverside Casino and Gloria Drapac held the winning ticket.

We want all the volunteers to know how much we really appreciated them stepping up and helping and especially when it came to a quick tear down. Also, Thanks to our loyal sponsors for their continued support.
